I wish to express my gratitude...
I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. It has been my only physician for almost twenty years. When I first sought Christian Science help I was in deep distress both mentally and physically. I was suffering from a nervous breakdown, accompanied by palpitation of the heart and glandular trouble. Doctors were not able to do anything for me. Through the help of a Science practitioner and our periodicals my problems were met. I do not know exactly when the healing took place, but before many months my condition was normal.
I have also had a number of healings of the effects of accidents. At one time when an automobile ran over my foot, Christian Science was my only surgeon. The healing was so quick and complete that many doubted that the bones had been broken, and even I could hardly believe that it had been so. However, shortly after this healing, when I went to buy a pair of shoes, the man who fitted me placed my foot under an X-ray machine to see if the shoe touched the bone at any place incorrectly. He said, "Apparently the bones in this foot were broken, but they surely are beautifully knit." This healing required less than a week. The practitioner said that my expectancy of good helped to speed my demonstrations.
Needless to state, Christian Science literature takes first place in all my reading. It would be difficult to carry on through these days of darkness which the world is going through without this source of light and life. I am very grateful to God for Christian Science.— (Miss) Olive C. Boyle, San Francisco, California.
