Signs of the Times
Cause And Cure
The Rev. G. G. S. Kenyon
Hertfordshire Mercury Hertford, England
Some may think it a too sweeping statement to say that all sickness is the result of sin—of the sufferer or of others—yet study of human nature points far in that direction. Christ [Jesus] said, "Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?" Christianity set out on its mission to the world under the command of its author to "heal the sick," and that power is given has been evinced right down the Christian era. "Thy touch has still its ancient power" is thoroughly believed and practiced today by those who have got to the heart of the matter.
