Not in Vain
Dear
God, when led to doubt Thy healing power
Or fear a force that seems opposed to Thee,
I know within my heart I am unfaithful.
The third commandment speaks, rebuking me.
"Thou shall not take in vain the name of God;
He holds him guilty, one who doubts or fears—
Have faith, praise God," the voice proclaims.
I thank my God. His glory reappears.
