Ashland, Ohio (First Church).
At dedication services in the morning and afternoon on Sunday, June 16, 1946, the progress of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Ashland, was described as follows:
The progress of the Christian Science movement in the city of Ashland, Ohio, is typical of the growth of a seed humbly sown and reverently cultivated, which beareth much fruit. Activities began with meetings of Christian Scientists in private homes in Ashland in the year 1909. In the year 1910 a room was secured in the rear of the Farmers Bank Building.
