A Woman
undergoing a difficult experience, which appeared to be affecting her physically and mentally, longed for healing in Christian Science.
On
one occasion when the disciples inquired the reason for their failure to perform a certain healing, their Master said, among other things.
When
mortal sense would boldly sayThat evil claims to be,Be still and listen, watch and pray;His Word goes forth to free.
Much
has been heard recently of splitting the atom and of nuclear fission as a means of releasing huge forces.
The
earnest desire and effort to abandon a material sense of oneself and of one's fellow man and to bear witness only to man's true selfhood seems dogged at every step by a mesmeric opposite view of God good, and His creation.
"To
those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings.
Now
and then one comes across a person who acknowledges openly that he is a student of Christian Science, that he turns to it for healing and systematically reads and studies the literature; but he avers that he has not felt an urge to unite either with The Mother Church or with one of its branches.
Most
of us rightly desire to be honored and respected by our fellows.

The following testimony is submitted with sincere gratitude for the many blessings I have received through the study of Christian Science.
For over twenty years Christian Science has been bringing physical, financial, and spiritual blessings into my life, and has given me cause for endless gratitude to Mrs.
Christian Science came into my experience at a time when I was physically and mentally ill, and fearful that I should have to have a medical examination, which I felt sure would lead to an operation.
To the Giver of all perfect gifts, our Father-Mother God, I wish to give heartfelt thanks for bringing me into Christian Science.

I am humbly grateful that I was placed in the Christian Science Sunday School at an early age.
