Man's Home Is Present and Available
In all parts of the world today people are seeking a place to dwell, a satisfactory sense of home. They all may find comfort in David's assurance (Ps. 23:6). "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."
In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, interprets the latter part of this verse from Psalms thus (p. 578): "And I will dwell in the house [the consciousness | of [LOVE ] for ever." To dwell in the consciousness of Love's constant provision of good for man is to lose all sense of fear and anxiety with regard to finding a home. By gaining an understanding of man's true abiding place, we begin to see that our real home is already provided by divine Love.
Man's home is complete and perfect. Being a spiritual idea, home is ever present and available, completely apart from human outlining or planning. Since it is of Mind's giving, it is not dependent on material limitations of any sort. Man's home, being an expression of boundless Love, manifests the fullness and richness of God's glory. It is indeed a thing of beauty. Home is an expression of Truth; it exists forever and is secure. The realization of these facts meets all human needs of a home.
