With a deep sense of gratitude I offer this testimony. Many proofs of God's care have come to our family since we took up the study of Christian Science over twenty years ago.

My father had suffered for over two years from tuberculosis of the lungs, and my brother for about six months from the same disease. The doctors who attended them sent my brother to the hospital and told us that my father could not live more than another week because his lungs were gone.

But "man's extremity is God's opportunity." Christian Science was introduced to us that week, and treatment by a Christian Science practitioner was begun for my father. In four months my father was attending the church services. His complete healing was not immediate, but it came through the practitioner's consecrated work and clear understanding of Truth. My father passed the physical requirements and returned to his former employment. His lungs proved to be in normal condition.
