What Is Your Concept of Man?
When we behold man in Science, we deny the material sense testimony and see in a degree what God, Spirit, sees. Pointing out the effect of this true seeing, our beloved Leader. Mary Baker Eddy, writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (pp. 476,477): "Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man, who appeared to him where sinning mortal man appears to mortals. In this perfect man the Saviour saw God's own likeness, and this correct view of man healed the sick."
It is our duty and privilege increasingly to behold our fellow man in Science, to see the man and the universe of God's creating, instead of accepting what the material senses say. By so doing we heal and bless.
The perfect universe of God is not seen with the material senses; we have to behold it in Science with spiritual sense. The Apostle John writes (I John 3:1). "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God." Only through the lens of divine Science can we behold the great love of the Father and understand the divine sonship.
