My testimony appeared in the Christian Science Sentinel of November 1, 1930, and I am grateful to state that every healing recorded therein has been permanent.

Many blessings have come to me since that time, among which is the establishment of a home in which the teachings of Christian Science are practiced. Our two children have never known any other form of treatment, and they are wonderful examples of health.

About eleven years ago, I was maintaining a business under great difficulties. Funds were lacking. Try as I would, the income never kept up with the expenses needed for both the business and my home. I was incurring further debt every day, until I finally reached the point where it seemed impossible to continue any longer. Friends advised me to declare myself bankrupt, but I felt that this was not the right way, inasmuch as my creditors had extended credit to me because of my reputation as an honest man. I felt that I had to live up to that reputation.
