In the year 1911 I was in great need of health, and I was urged by a dear relative to get a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I got this book and prayerfully and earnestly studied it, and as my thoughts were enlightened and I accepted the truth, my health was restored. Physicians had said my days were numbered because of what they called leakage of the heart, but the experience was just another proof that "man's extremity is God's opportunity." I studied Science and Health faithfully and applied what little I understood. In a month's time I was able to take up my household duties, relying on Christian Science to guide me to demonstrate the truth.

I am indeed grateful to God for this healing and for many others. I am thankful also for the protection and healings which people all over the world are experiencing from the study of Science. For our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for The Mother Church and its activities and the privilege of being a member of this church, for the Manual, and for class instruction, I am very grateful.—(Mrs.) Daisy Crawford, Rock Island, Illinois.
