It is with a deep sense of gratitude...
It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I testify to some of the many healings I have had through the study and application of the truth as given to us in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
Over fourteen years ago I was so addicted to the smoking habit that as a rule I smoked a pack and a half or two packs of cigarettes a day. Several times I tried to overcome this habit through human will power, with no success.
While listening to a Christian Science lecture, however, my thought was so uplifted that this habit simply dropped away. The healing was so complete that to this day it does not bother me in the least to be in a room where people are smoking. The habit has been proved unreal to me, not a part of man.
