"Let the redeemed of the Lord...

"Let the redeemed of the Lord say so," we are told in the Bible (Ps.107:2), and therefore I gratefully give this testimony.

Christian Science was presented to my husband and me just a few years ago. Seeing what great good it had done for the one who told us about it, we immediately started to investigate. We attended the church services occasionally and then placed our young son in the Sunday School. We then started to attend the services regularly, and soon I joined a branch church. I am so grateful for our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The first time I read it through I was healed of smoking, social drinking, and other sinful habits. Out beloved Leader states in Science and Health (p. 1), "Desire is prayer," and the answering of this prayer of right desire has come through the reading of the textbook and has brought me great joy.

I am very grateful for our practitioners, who help us not only to be healed physically, but also to follow the rules which are found in the Bible and Science and Health, and which give us courage to go on when the way is hard.
