It was around Thanksgiving time nineteen years ago that I first took up the study of Christian Science. Since that time many proofs of God's loving care and protection and guidance have come to me, and I have much to be thankful for.

A dear friend and earnest student of Science first presented this healing truth to a member of my family who had suffered for many years from bronchial asthma. The healing was an instantaneous one. I was filled with joy and decided there must be something to Christian Science.

My first healing came quite unexpectedly. I had suffered for many years from chronic constipation, headaches, and backaches, and I was under a doctor's care most of the time. It was while I was having help from a practitioner to overcome a sense of sepration and grief that I realized one day that I was healed of these physical difficulties. I felt so grateful and happy that I was also healed of the sense of separation and grief.
