Soldiers of God, Fight On

Soldiers of God take courage.
The midnight battle fought
Against the taunting challenges
Of fear, temptation, pain,
Is never lost to those
Who faithfully endure.
The Spirit's sword is strong.
Empowered by God's love;
And Truth reveals the enemy
As cowards, fleeing falsities,
Unreal beliefs that quail
Before divine supremacy.
Soldiers of God, fight on.
You share the Christ-inheritance;
Peace now is yours—and victory!
