Are You One of Them?

At the conclusion of a Christian Science midweek meeting several service people were expressing their gratitude for the meeting to the Christian Science Wartime Minister in the chaplain's office on a small Naval Air Station. A Wave said, "One of the girls asked me where I go on Friday nights, because am always so much happier when I return, to the barracks."

Upon being told that she attended the Christian Science meetings her friend named a sailor stationed at the base and said: "Is he one too? He is so friendly and so pleasant that I should think he might be." The Scientist was happy to be able to say that the one referred to was also endeavoring to apply his understanding of the teachings of Christian Science to his daily living.

May not each one of us ask himself this searching question: "Am I living in such a manner that those who have some comprehension of Christian Science and what it stands for could observe me and say, 'Why, he must be a Christian Scientist'?" What higher praise could be offered and what nobler recognition could one desire!
