Treasure

There are many values that are even more precious than those whose safety is guarded with men and vaults and steel bars. These are the intangible values and they relate both to individuals and to the moral and spiritual values possessed by individuals; and it is transparently true that these higher values should be protected with the most jealous care, with even greater care than is displayed in the protection of money and precious jewels

The supreme value is represented by those qualities which go to make life a rich and noble thing. Among such values are goodness, kindness, sympathy, honesty, reverence, and courage. Many possess such values but not all are deeply conscious of the fact that they, too, must be safeguarded and treasured just as other values must be if they are to be retained.
