It is with great joy that I express...
It is with great joy that I express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. I do not know how I could live without it, for it has been my only physician for many years.
I became interested in Christian Science in 1912, when I experienced my first healing. I had been troubled with a diseased condition of the ear of many years' standing, when I met a student who had just finished the glorious experience of class instruction, and I told him that he could start his practice of Christian Science with me as his first patient. I am happy to report that the treatment resulted in an instantaneous healing.
One evening in 1930, we received a telegram of a very disturbing nature which we discussed pro and con, but all the time looking to matter for a solution. Whichever way we looked it seemed as though a solid wall were before me, but the thought would always come that we should look up.
