Several years ago I was instantaneously healed, through Christian Science, of the tobacco habit, to which I had been in bondage for many years, and of indigestion. The latter had caused me much suffering for a long time, during which I had been unable to eat solid foods of any kind, and suffered much from hunger and weakness. I was in the same condition as the man spoken of on page 221 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and was healed just as quickly.

Some time after these healings took place I drifted away from Science, and then other diseases manifested themselves, among them high blood pressure and shingles. I was advised by the doctor to take up Christian Science, as nothing more could be done for me by materia medica. It was then that I began earnestly to work in Christian Science. With the help of a practitioner these ills were soon overcome, and I am enjoying better health and greater freedom than ever before.

I am truly grateful to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who went through great tribulation to bring us this healing truth that has made me and countless others so free and happy. I am grateful for our periodicals, our church services, and every activity of our beloved Cause.
