Home

A Common yearning inherent in mankind is the desire for a resting place, an abode wherein care may be dropped, burdens cast aside in joyous peace and assurance with our dear ones. This, a center of the affections, is the environment we call home.

Peoples of every clime and kindred build structures adapted to their individual needs and desires; and within such structures prepare homes which meet material demands. However, the essential qualities necessary to maintain the true sense of home are love reflecting Love, wisdom expressing God's government, and intelligence manifesting the ever-presence of Mind. These form the foundation and superstructure of the eternal dwelling place of the man of God's creation.

Home forever stands a symbol of security, even as in the parable in the fifteenth chapter of the Gospel of St. Luke, where it is stated that the prodigal sought refuge in his father's home after learning the falsity of the thoughts which he had entertained, and which the true sense of home excludes. The real home is substantial, changeless, the abiding place of Love, peopled with God's ideas. Therein is found nothing to oppose good.
