"The chaos of mortal mind is...
"The chaos of mortal mind is made the stepping-stone to the cosmos of immortal Mind" (Unity of Good by Mrs. Eddy, p. 56), is a truth that can be fitted to every situation to which Christian Science is applied, whether it be great or small.
Divine Principle is ever present, ever available, and every single demonstration of this fact, from the beginning of Bible history to the present moment, proves that God takes much better care of men than they take of themselves.
Faithful study of the Lesson-sermon brought about my first healing. There was a wart on the bottom of my foot. I went each day at noon to a Christian Science Reading Room near the business school I was then attending and read the whole Lesson. Soon I reached the point where I could remember any part of the Lesson brought up in the Sunday school class in which I was a pupil. At some time during these weeks, I never knew just when, the wart on my foot disappeared.
