A Christmas Prayer
A star
shone down on quiet fields,
Lo, many years ago,
To tell men that the light of Truth
Was there to heal earth's woe.
That light of Truth still shines today,
In spite of hate and greed,
To comfort, heal, and strengthen men
And ever meet their need.
So at this holy Christmastide
Let each one pause to pray
That men will open wide their thought
To see this light today.
