"Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 494). I have proved the truth of this statement by Mrs. Eddy many times, and my gratitude for Christian Science and to our beloved Leader can never be expressed in words alone.

One of the things for which I am always grateful is the protection that Christian Science gives to our homes and our families. As the mother of three small children I have had proof of this in countless ways.

When our eldest son was three years of age he fell from a height of about nine feet, and in falling struck his eye on jagged piece of wood. His eyelid was torn open, and two members of the household at the time this occurred remarked that it would have to be stitched if it was to heal properly. I made him lie quietly, placed a bandage across the eye, and telephoned my mother for treatment. I then read to him some hymns which he loved. In a short while he asked to be allowed to return to his play. I let him do so, keeping the eye covered.
