Birmingham, Warwickshire, England (Second Church).—The growth of Christian Science in this city was marked on Sunday, June 27, 1943, by the dedication of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Birmingham.

Services have been held at the edifice on Broad Street since 1929.

Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Birmingham, was organized in 1924. The members acquired the unused Presbyterian church on Broad Street, together with its freehold, and, after considerable remodeling and redecorating, the first Christian Science service was held there on the first Sunday in August, 1929.

An electrically controlled organ was installed in May, 1931.—Birmingham News.
