Out of a heart grateful for what...
Out of a heart grateful for what Christian Science has done for me and my family, and with the hope that it may help others, I submit this testimony.
I became interested in Christian Science through the healing of my dear mother. She had been under medical care for about four years, after which the attending physician told her that nothing more could be done for her, unless she immediately submitted to an operation, which she refused to do. Instead, she turned to Christian Science and was completely healed in a very short time.
Eager to know how the healing was accomplished. I purchased a copy of the textbook. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and began to study it earnestly in connection with the Bible. I found that it is through the understanding of the truth that healing in Christian Science is accomplished, and that it fulfills Jesus' promise, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
