"Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen."

It is with joy that I herewith bear witness to the healing efficacy of Truth, as revealed in Christian Science. I have been a student of this great Science for over twenty years, during which time I have received many healings, among them that of neuralgia of the face and teeth, which came through my reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The normal use of my left arm was restored after I had lost the use of it for a period of two weeks. The difficulty would probably have been diagnosed by a physician as paralysis. During this time I was able to continue with the household duties for my family of four, no member of the family noticing that I had not the use of one arm. I do not know just when the healing took place. I only realized, with thankfulness to God and to Christian Science, that I was again using my arm. At no time did I feel the least fear. The following words were a source of comfort to me: "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear." I had full confidence that, if I continued to know the truth about the condition, I should realize my birthright of freedom, and so it proved. So-called hereditary traits of character have been overcome, such as extreme sensitiveness, resentment, false pride, impatience, irritability, and a sense of unrest. These "little foxes" were cast out through my understanding of man's unity with God.

Our son was born under Christian Science treatment. The birth was normal and harmonious, and my recovery was rapid. This boy is now over twenty years of age, and has never tasted medicine of any kind. The so-called children's diseases have been quickly and effectively overcome. Scarlet fever was healed after five treatments by a practitioner, with no aftereffects. Our son sustained a broken arm when he was ten years of age. The metaphysical work of the practitioner whom we engaged at that time was most successful, for he felt no pain at any time, and the bone mended quickly. More recently he was healed of pneumonia. We were so grateful for Christian Science at this time, for, to human sense, the condition was very alarming. For the correct instruction our boy received while a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School, we are grateful.
