In the year 1930 I had got to the end of my extremity.

About five years ago, while I was living in California, I was healed of a serious physical condition.
Over twenty years ago I was stricken with an alarming and painful malady, which threatened my life.
It is with overflowing gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, that I should like to tell some of the reasons for my great debt of love to her and her Cause, to consecrated practitioners, and to those whose testimonies have been a source of encouragement along the way.
I have been a witness of, and in a number of instances have experienced, the wonderful healing efficacy of Christian Science, as recounted by my wife in her testimony.
I am happy to confirm the statements in my mother's testimony.
