It is full time for me to express my gratitude for Christian Science. Since I began the study of this Science twelve years ago, the application of its teachings has met my every need. In our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, we read (p. 207): "There is but one primal cause. Therefore there can be no effect from any other cause, and there can be no reality in aught which does not proceed from this great and only cause." Realization of the truth of this statement, early in my study, caused the instantaneous disappearance of a cold.

Here was definite proof of the efficacy of Christian Science, and it spurred me on to further study. Since then, through the understanding of the all-power of God, many and varied claims of discord have been overcome. Loving practitioners have helped me when my understanding has not been sufficient sufficient to the problem.

Evidence of infection in a finger disappeared overnight, without the excretion which material sense claimed would be necessary to allay the inflammation. impaired eyesight was overcome after one visit to a practitioner, through the sudden clear understanding that man is spiritual and complete, and that seeing, therefore, is a spiritual faculty. During a recent experience of childbirth, Christian Science brought to the baby and me support and protection.
