From a child I loved the truth that God is perfect, but there came a time when I was very much disappointed at the pettiness of material living. Depression claimed me for months at a stretch; then I would experience one joyous day. This made me ask myself which was right, the sense of life and freedom or continual depression. Christian Science has given me the spiritual knowledge of the truth of being, which brings joy eternal.

Fifteen years ago I was instantaneously healed of an internal ailment of six years' standing, which three doctors and a specialist had never heard of before. I was healed immediately through reading our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

Our youngest child in her third year was healed of pain and helplessness in the arm, after having five or six attacks, the last one continuing for twenty-four hours. That was ten years ago.
