I consider Christian Science the greatest blessing of my life. Before I got in touch with this wonderful religion, I was grateful for the riches of a life in daily communion with God, but it was only through Christian Science that I actually found God and learned the true essence of prayer—to know and prove God as Principle and man as His idea.

Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." Even with my small understanding I have seen this truth abundantly proved.

By knowing man's real relation to God and to his fellow man, I have been lifted up from deep despair and freed from resentment. By cherishing right thoughts about work and activity—by knowing God to be our real employer, and by realizing that it is therefore He above all whom we ought to serve by reflecting His nature—I have gained a permanent occupation, which is giving me and my three children everything we need. The understanding of our Leader's words, "Pilgrim on earth, thy home is heaven" (ibid., p. 254)—spiritual consciousness—has been evidenced for me in a good and harmonious home. And finally, by seeing that man is the idea of God, unchangeable, made in His image and likeness, living, moving, and having his being in divine Mind, we have been healed of illness and effects of accidents, and have been helped to perform our daily duties in a more satisfactory way.
