In a recent issue the term "Christian Scientist" is referred to in a way that might be misleading to your readers.

Far from ignoring or refusing to that about national and world affairs, the alert Christian Scientist takes a keen and intelligent interest in what is taking place, and does his part as a good citizen in supporting what is nearest right and in opposing all that is wrong.

That the Christian Scientist has a correct and effective method of dealing with all forms of discord is proved by the fact that this teaching continues to spread thorughout the world, and doubtless many of your readers have experienced the healing power of this religion.

As Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, says in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 149), "To-day there is hardly a city, village, or hamlet, in which are not to be found living witnesses and monuments to the virtue and power of Truth, as applied through this Christian system of healing disease."
