Your kind attention is called to a misprint appearing in your much-appreciated report of the Christian Science lecture delivered recently. The lecturer was reported as making a statement which was the opposite of his meaning.

As understood in Christian Science, Mind (capitalized) is a synonym for God and in no sense does it stand for "minds many." In line with Paul's statement, "The carnal mind is enmity against God," Mary Baker Eddy writes (Science and Health, p. 311), "What we term mortal mind or carnal mind, dependent on matter for manifestation, is not Mind." Divine Mind is the only power in the universe, and it becomes manifest in the affairs of men in proportion as belief in, or reliance on, the carnal or mortal mind is destroyed.
