For more than eighteen years I have enjoyed the blessings of Christian Science, and the time has come when I can no longer delay my expression of gratitude to God for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who has opened the way for us to find more abundant life through the understanding of the Bible.

My first introduction to Christian Science was when, as a small child, I was taken by my aunts to a Wednesday evening testimony meeting. They went "to scoff," as the poet says, but I "remain'd to pray." It was there that I resolved that some day I would try this Science. What I then saw of it comforted and sustained me many times through the years which followed. It was perhaps some fourteen years later, when a member of my family was dying, according to the pronouncement of three physicians, that I turned to it for specific help. I telephoned to a friend in a distant city and told her that I was afraid it was too late, but she assured me that it is never too late for Christian Science, and said that she would ask a practitioner to help. A complete healing was effected in a few days.

It was several years before I took a definite stand for Christian Science, but in proportion to my spiritual growth and application of the truth my life has become increasingly happy.
