For years I have gained spiritual refreshment and help through reading the wonderful testimonies of healing which have been brought about through the application of Christian Science, and the time has certainly come when I, too, should express my gratitude for its many blessings.

The first healing I experienced was that of Bright's disease, when I was a young girl. Although a physician attending me stated that I should never be completely free of this disease, my healing came quickly when medicine and diets were dispensed with and help in Christian Science was given, and in over twenty years there has been no return of this difficulty.

Recently the fear of swimming in deep water was overcome when Love's tender voice whispered, "Underneath are the everlasting arms." I recognized the voice of Truth, accepted my freedom, and swam out into deep water. I am extremely grateful to be released from this self-imposed bondage. A tendency to severe colds was overcome years ago; and recently, when this error tried to come in again, I was able to free myself from it almost instantaneously just by being thankful that I knew the difficulty had been met by Truth and could not reappear. Periodic pains, burns, headaches that lasted for days, and constipation, have all been healed through the study of the Bible, together with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Fatigue has been completely overcome, and this, to me, is one of the most beautiful experiences I have had. For years I believed that I had very little endurance, that walking was a great hardship, and that crowds tired me greatly. When I took up these problems and handled them as we are taught to do in Christian Science, I gained complete freedom from fatigue of all kinds, and as a result can accomplish more than I ever did in the past and still feel fresh and vigorous.
