With deep gratitude for the blessings which I have received for over thirty years through the understanding and application of Christian Science, I wish to tell of more recent experiences. An earlier testimony of mine was published in The Christian Science Journal of February, 1919.

Some years ago I was left without means of support, and with debts to pay. But there came to me a clear and happy sense that a step of progress lay ahead which promised a wider sphere of usefulness.

It was necessary for me to find some kind of employment, and I gratefully remembered Mrs. Eddy's statement in the Manual of The Mother Church (Art. VIII, Sect. 15), where she says, "God requires our whole heart, and He supplies within the wide channels of The Mother Church dutiful and sufficient occupation for all its members." I did not know what the nature of the work would be, but without any outlining on my part there has opened up for me an opportunity for service in the Field as a Christian Science nurse. I have had many happy experiences and seen healings of many phases of error and disease.
