I have been a Christian Scientist since I was a baby, and I am now twelve years old. I will tell you about one of my healings. One day, about a week before school ended, I had a severe cold in my eyes. I was expecting to take a course in manual training which was to begin the following Monday, and I wanted to be able to start on the first day. My mother and I got to work, but the condition did not let up, and we asked a practitioner to help us. The night before the course was to start, I became determined to overcome this ailment, so that I could be on hand the next day, and I read Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy until about ten o'clock. Then I went to bed, and in the morning I was completely healed.

For this healing and many others, I am deeply grateful.
