With a heart filled with gratitude and love for our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, I give this testimony.

In 1938 I became seriously ill. A Christian Science practitioner was called and treatment given. The practitioner worked earnestly, faithfully, and lovingly, and in a very short time I was healed of severe bowel trouble, caused by a malignant growth.

Several weeks later a certificate of health was required, prior to my returning to my place of employment. The physician who examined me said that my healing had been a most remarkable one, and he gave me a certificate of perfect health.

I am profoundly grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to Mrs. Eddy, who so lovingly gave to the world the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which, if studied in connection with the Bible, reveals the truth which makes men free. I am also grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the blessing of class instruction.

This testimony would not be complete without sincere gratitude being expressed for the kind practitioner who worked for me faithfully and untiringly, for all that Christian Science is doing for the world, and for every activity of The Mother Church.—(Mrs.) E.
