Christian Science was presented to my mother when I was five months old. I had scarlet fever, and it was thought that I was passing on, but Christian Science healed me, and since then our family has never had any other remedy.

Many are the opportunities to utilize this truth in a large family. At one time a felon appeared on one of my fingers. The finger was swollen to twice its normal size, and was very black. Christian Science treatment was applied, and the condition soon disappeared. Some time later I learned that this disease is considered very painful. At that time I washed the dishes and did my other duties about the home as usual. I suffered no pain or anxiety over the finger; and the healing was quick and permanent.

When my sister and I had finished school we came to San Francisco. Here again Christian Science was our aid and guide in finding work. I know now that God indeed led the way, and that it was the way of wisdom.
