It is my desire to express thanks to God for my wonderful healing through Christian Science.

One Saturday I was preparing to paint the woodwork of a glass covering outside the back door of the house. My son was very eager to help me, and my anxiety that he should not climb upon the frame took away every thought for my own safety. No sooner had I climbed upon some boards, which had been put across the glass to prevent my knees going through, than I heard a tremendous crash. The entire center of the frame had given way under my weight, and I fell, together with the woodwork and broken glass, some seven or eight feet upon the concrete below. I do not remember reaching the ground, but I was able to get up immediately, and as soon as I realized what had taken place, my thought was that God would help me.

I called to my wife, who helped me to a chair, and then I lost consciousness. My wife began to help me by declaring the truth, and she sent our little girl to a practitioner to ask for help. Very soon, although I was in great pain, I was able to go upstairs and lie down upon the bed. The practitioner, who had started work immediately, soon arrived, and continued the treatment, staying with me fully two hours. I was unable to sleep until four o'clock on Sunday morning. I spent a peaceful day on Sunday, and was visited again by the practitioner.
