With gratitude I give this testimony of a healing which brought us into Christian Science.

My wife and our son, four years of age, were on a visit to her mother at a town in the west of England, when the boy has to be taken to a doctor, who ordered my wife to return immediately with a letter to one of the leading hospitals in London. When the boy was taken to this hospital he was at once admitted. According to the doctors he was suffering from tuberculosis of the hip.

My wife's sister, who had just previous to this been healed by Christian Science treatment, wrote asking us to have help in Christian Science. She also sent a copy of the Sentinel, but we did not pay any heed to this. She then wrote saying that a friend was visiting London and asking if this friend could call on us, to which we consented. When she visited us I used every conceivable argument that mortal mind could give against Christian Science.
