A Morning Song

I know not, Lord, I cannot tell
Where this day's work shall be,
But if I listen for Thy voice
It is revealed to me.

Not fully do I see the Way,
But as each hour draws near,
Thy loving hand is seen to guide,
Thy peaceful steps appear.

Oh, may I walk no other path
Than that which Thou dost plan;
Oh, may I know no other Life
Than that Thou hast for man.

I do not know, I cannot tell,
Where this day's work may be,
But when I listen for Thy voice
It is revealed to me.
