I am very grateful that I was led to take up the study of Christian Science, and should like to share some of my experiences with others.

The first healing I received was the renewing and strengthening of my right ankle bone, which had been crushed before I came to Christian Science. Whereas before it was always weak, now it is quite strong and normal, causing me no trouble at all. Soon after this, whilst riding a bicycle, I skidded and was pinned under a light motor lorry; but as soon as the lorry was backed off me, I was able to get up and carry my damaged cycle away, and had no ill effects from the experience.

On another occasion, when going to the office I had an attack of erysipelas on my face and neck. My fear was so great that I immediately went to the home of a practitioner and asked for help. She left me with a Bible, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and the Christian Science Quarterly, from which to study the Lesson-Sermon for that week, whilst she retired to another room and worked mentally for me. When she returned about half an hour afterwards, all trace of erysipelas had vanished. Other conditions which have been overcome are a poisoned hand, sunstroke, and bad temper.
