One
of the most joyful experiences in Christian Science comes to us when we begin to see deeply into the meaning of some passage in the Bible or in our Leader's writings which we had not previously grasped.
A Practitioner
who was helping a student to see the unreality of a discouraging difficulty urged him to let his expectancy be of the fulfillment of good.
A Christian Scientist
was asked to give a word of assurance to one who, having lived far beyond the human allotment of threescore years and ten, believed that his earthly span of life was almost spent.
From
time immemorial a question which has greatly perplexed mankind has been, "What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
There
may be times when we can seemingly become so engrossed with the thought of accumulating, conserving, or managing dollars and cents in order to pay debts or meet daily obligations that the spiritual demand, the debt of loving-kindness to our fellow men, is forgotten.

In your issue of Nov.
In your issue of October 15 appears a letter, the author of which is concerned about the "status of evil" as presented in Christian Science.
In a recent issue of your paper there appears a synopsis of a lecture by a clergyman, who took "Suggestion" as his subject.
In an article the writer again couples Christian Science with astrology, phrenology, and chiropractic.
In
these days there are many throughout the world who are feeling the pinch of poverty.
With
all of their egotism and vaunting, materially-minded mortals have never claimed anything approaching self-existence.
I am one of the many who are happy to express gratitude for Christian Science and for what it has accomplished for me and others and will accomplish for all who will listen to this promised Comforter.
After continuous treatment by physicians, who finally said that they could relieve but not cure the patient, a member of my family was healed in Christian Science, and it was then that I became interested.
Joyous gratitude for all the blessings I have received through Christian Science prompts me to give this testimony.
About twenty years ago I became rather impatient with a slow healing, because previously I had been healed quickly of extremely trying conditions.
I have studied Christian Science for a period of about twenty years, and it has blessed me a great many times in a number of different ways.
From my own experience I know that Truth is ever active and does bear fruit.
It is over thirteen years since I took up the study of Christian Science in earnest.
I wish to express my sincere gratitude for all the good that has come to my family and to me through the study and application of Christian Science.
