Signs of the Times

If we have a true understanding of God we must recognize that there is no evil because God is all good and All-in-all. The evil that men do and see is but the result of their own actions, and if a man think evil in his heart, so will he do. When Jesus was told he was good he said, "Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God." "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father ... is perfect."

When we take these words and realize that we are made in the image of God, we must of necessity also be good. When we think good thoughts and do good deeds, there is a feeling of contentment and joy that passes over us and life becomes bright and joyous, and this feeling extends to all around us. ...
