With a heart full of love and gratitude I give this testimony. I know Christian Science does heal in every way.

My first healing came when I attended a Christian Science lecture given in the church of which I am now a member. I was almost a wreck at the time my sister asked me to attend this lecture. I went with her; and I was healed of ulcers of the mouth that had been there for months, and of a cough that I had had for years. I am deeply grateful for the healing of fear. At times it seemed as if I was afraid of everything—of storms, of lack of supply, of my health, afraid to go out alone at night. Now Christian Science is our only physician. It has healed me of these and many other erroneous beliefs, and has given me the assurance that God is always present.

I had been studying Christian Science only about a month when my sister awakened me early one morning and said she was passing on. We at once declared the presence of God and she asked me to read something from our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I read "the scientific statement of being," onpage 468, and we repeated it together. In a short time she was better, and that day she got out of bed and sat up. In the evening I called a practitioner to help her, for she seemed weak and I was new in Science. She is a healthy and happy woman to-day.
