There Is No Night

Candles are we, our work to shine,
Reflecting His clear light divine.
Kindled by Love and guarded well,
No wind can end their gleam, no cloud
Hide their bright flames that shall combine
In one clear glow, one radiant light
Dispelling mists of mortal sight.
Lo, here a little flame grows clear,
And there another lifts its beam
As He enlightens us aright.
Love forms us; through His Christ we glow,
Spiritual candles lit to show
There is no night, there is no night!
