It is with deep gratitude that I testify to having received health and harmony through the study of Christian Science. After undergoing a surgical operation in one of the best hospitals, I found in less than a year that the pain and illness had returned. When those who believed in medical science began to suggest another operation, I turned to Christian Science and was healed of chronic stomach trouble, of the effects of malaria, and of intense suffering which the physician said was caused by gallstones. I have proved that God is my preserver, and that my human needs are met by applying the truth about God and man. Through what seemed to be a very severe trial I was taught how to forgive and to love a seeming enemy.

I am grateful for the different channels through which we are assisted in our growth Godward. The Bible Lessons in the Christian Science Quarterly are our manna for each day. The Wednesday evening testimony meetings, the lectures, and our divinely authorized Christian Science literature provide, indeed, a staff upon which to lean. To our Father-Mother God I give all the glory. I am unceasingly grateful to Christ Jesus, the master Metaphysician, and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave to the world the scientific interpretation of the Scriptures and established The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.—(Mrs.) Ethel Pearl Anderson, Los Angeles, California.
