A correspondent in your recent issue wishes to know the difference between practical psychology, new-thought, Christian Science, and theosophy. It is impossible to explain in the columns of a newspaper what a great difference there is. I can only tell a little of what Christian Science teaches. In one of the Christian Science books, called "Rudimental Divine Science" by Mary Baker Eddy, are questions and answers which read as follows (p. 1):

"How would you define Christian Science?

"As the law of God, the law of good, interpreting and demonstrating the divine Principle and rule of universal harmony.
