Twenty-two years ago, when my husband told me of the healings in Christian Science, I gladly accepted this teaching, for physicians could not help me. My first healing was of chronic indigestion, of which I was healed in a short time.

When my family and I were staying on the island of Norderney, I was taken with a severe attack of dysentery, and according to the physician and the inhabitants of the island I was lost. My husband telegraphed to a practitioner, and in a short time I was able to travel home. I was healed, and I acknowledge this in humble love and gratitude. Somewhat later, in May, 1907, we made an excursion to Potsdam. On the way I was taken so seriously ill that my husband was obliged to take me to the first hotel we came to. The physician who was called diagnosed the trouble as a serious gallstone complaint. After a few weeks' treatment in Christian Science I was healed. As the result of a cold I was again taken very ill. Although I had been able to help others, I could not help myself. But a practitioner supported me, and God healed me. A few years ago I broke my wrist, but it was healed in a few months, without being put in splints or plaster of Paris. So I thank God, who has the remedy for every trouble; and I thank all those who have helped me, and who are working in the vineyard of our Lord.
