With a heart full of gratitude, I testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science. I turned to it while a young girl, to overcome a disorder which materia medica could not reach. In three days of treatment, following the directions of the practitioner and the reading of the Lesson-Sermons, I was healed. I had not told the practitioner of another trouble, which I felt could be reached only through surgery. That condition was overcome at the same time. I then began to study the Lesson-Sermons, and am very grateful to God, to Mary Baker Eddy, and to all the kind, patient friends who have helped to increase my little understanding of this great, practical truth.

I can also bear witness to the healing of grief. I always doubted the statement that divine Science could heal sorrow; but when that problem faced me, the truth was my "sovereign panacea" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mrs. Eddy, p. 407).

I am enjoying the privilege of church membership and the many opportunities which come to one from alliance with this great movement.
