It is with gratitude that I testify to the many blessings and healings that have come to me since I came into Christian Science over four years ago. I have been healed of a great sorrow, and of a nervous condition brought on by that sorrow, which was undermining my health. I have been able to make a number of demonstrations through the slight understanding of Truth I have gained; for which I am most grateful. At one time I fell, and error immediately claimed that I would be laid up indefinitely with a sprained ankle. The pain was intense, but I managed to reach my couch; and through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and continued mental work, I was soon able to return to my duties. For a time I felt no pain whatever, but by evening the material evidences returned with such severity that I again could not stand or walk.

A friend came in and telephoned to a practitioner, who, upon giving me a treatment, said, "If you have anything that it is right for you to do, get up and do it without fear; for you are upheld and sustained by the understanding of your divine inheritance." I immediately stood up; and from that time on went about my duties with perfect freedom. The next morning being Sunday, I attended church, and later in the day went to the beach for a swim, climbing stairs without difficulty. In due time the discoloration entirely disappeared and I had no after effects whatsoever.

In expressing my gratitude for this and other healings, physical and financial, I also wish to speak of the spiritual uplift that follows every demonstration in Christian Science, and the realization of the protecting power of divine Love.
